Visiting Hours Information

Visiting hours are specific to each nursing unit and can be obtained by calling the hospital information desk at (561) 498-4440. While carefully timed for the benefit of each nursing area, visiting hours may be adjusted at the discretion of the nursing staff and will depend upon the department's activities and the patient's need for care and rest.<br><br> <b>Visitor Guidelines:</b> Visiting hours are: Noon - 8:30 p.m.<br> I.C.U. hours are: Noon - 1 p.m., 3 p.m. - 4 p.m., 8 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.<br> All visitors must enter the hospital through the main lobby located on the Linton Boulevard side.<br> We ask all visitors to remain in the main lobby until visiting hours start. All visitors must sign in at the information desk located at the main entrance (Linton Boulevard) and obtain a visitor's pass. The passes are dated and a new pass must be obtained before each visit.<br> Children under 12 are not allowed to visit without administrative approval. Exceptions to the visiting guidelines must be documented by the administrative office staff. <br> No smoking is permitted within the hospital. <br> Visitors may be asked to leave the patient's room when the physician or nurse stops by to administer treatment. There are waiting areas on each floor for visitors.<br> Visitors should check with the patient's nurse before bringing food to the hospital.<br> Visits from relatives and friends can play an important part in your recovery. Nevertheless, if you do not want visitors during your stay, please tell your nurse.

The visitor parking is located directly in front of the hospital.

Volunteer Information

Delray Medical Center is currently looking for vibrant, active volunteers willing to work with patients and transportation. Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer must complete a volunteer application and return it to the Auxiliary Office. Applications are available at the information desk located in the lobby of the hospital or can be received by mail by calling (561) 495-3243. If your qualifications meet our needs, you will be contacted to schedule an interview. Volunteers must commit at least one day a week to a four-hour shift and must purchase their own uniforms.

From I-95, take Linton Boulevard west. Go past Military Trail. At the first light past Military Trail, make a left into the Delray Medical Center campus. Visitor parking is located directly in front of the hospital.
