Volunteer Information

The RMH Volunteer Auxiliary (RMHVA) is made up of working and retired men and women, college students and teenagers who provide support and assistance to RMH patients, families and visitors. Foundation Information

The RMH Foundation supports Rockingham Memorial Hospital as a community-based hospital and its mission of providing high-quality, cost effective healthcare and building a healthier community. The Foundation is also a channel of communication between the hospital and the community.
Virtually every patient at the hospital benefits from equipment purchased through the RMH Foundation. Since it's beginning in 1975, over $25 million has been channeled through the Foundation for a wide variety of needs at the hospital. RMH has been able to significantly improve the care patients receive because of gifts from a caring and generous community. In fact, the RMH Regional Cancer Center is a reality because of $3.5 million donated by our community.

Community Outreach & Activites

The Mended Hearts, Inc.is a non-profit, educational, volunteer service organization for persons with heart disease, their families and other interested individuals. Drawing from their own personal experiences with heart disease, members provide emotional support to patients and their families during hospitalization and treatment.
