Dr Pitson is the WORST ob/gyn I have ever been to. She misdiagnosed my severe abdominal pain during the first visit whi...ch caused my health provider to deny my surgery 6 months later. The health insurance said it was considered a pre existing condition because I had been to see her at that first visit. And it was my regular doctor that ordered an ultrasound and found the fibroids. A year later I had no insurance so I have been suffering for almost 3 years. I went back to her twice asking for help or advice on how I can get the surgery and she offered me nothing, absolutely no information at all. I now have insurance and I am never going back to Dr Pitson. If you're young and pregnant (with insurance of course) then Dr Pitson can probably help you, but if you're approaching menopause then go somewhere else. If she doesn't know enough to order an ultrasound on a 48 year old patient with bad abdominal pain, then she isn't that good a doctor. more details
