Almost two years ago had a high PSA and referred to Dr Szlyk. Did a biopsy and found prostate cancer. Had a bone scan an...d soft tissue scan but couldn't return for a month due to working out of town. Was told I could call for results. He would never return calls. Made an appt at Johns Hopkins and cancelled my appointment with Szlyk and magically he calls me two hours later. Ultimately went to a guru at Florida Hospital named Vipul Patel who has done more DaVinci robotic prostatectomies than anyone. Would highly recommend. Surgery less than an hour, walked a mile that night. Catheter out in 4 days, wore pads for 2 weeks (really needed for 1 but insecure), at 6 months sexually active with half a viagra. Now, after 20 months from Szlyk to go to his seminars on first impotence and now incontinence. Just reminded me to leave a review. There are some great urologist out there. Quality of life outcome too important to not go to the best. Recommend Vipul Patel in Kissimmee or the Mayo Clinic. Ask how many robotic procedures Dr. Szlyk has done and compare to the greater than 5000 that Patel has done. more details
