Mission of Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital

Welcome to one of the best health systems in the nation. Our hospitals are ranked among the finest for nursing, clinical excellence, emergency care, stroke treatment and other services. Bon Secours Richmond has also been recognized for its integrated information systems, including an electronic medical records system that gives our doctors immediate access to each patient's unique health history.

In the spirit of our founding Sisters, it's our Mission to treat the whole person — mind, body and spirit. We believe patients heal best when they know that their caregivers care. So if there's any way we can improve your stay with us, just ask.

Since 1966, St. Mary's Hospital has served central Virginia, providing compassionate health care of the highest quality. St. Mary's Hospital and Memorial Regional Medical Center are the only hospitals in Richmond to earn 2009 Magnet Recognition® status for excellence in nursing. Emergency care at St. Mary's is ranked among the top 10 percent of American hospitals, and we also received national recognition for stroke treatment, heart and vascular care, surgical weight loss and our comprehensive community cancer center.
