Through a unique partnering agreement with University Hospitals, Southwest General offers its communities local access to selected UH services. Board-certified pediatricians from UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital provide 24-hour coverage for neonatal patients at Southwest General. In addition, work with community-based pediatricians to provide 24-hour coverage for pediatric patients. In addition, board-certified UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital pediatricians provide minor medical emergency care for children during evenings and weekends through Rainbow RapidCare at Southwest General. UH Seidman Cancer Center (formerly UH Ireland Cancer Center) at Southwest General offers a wide range of cancer-related services and helps to assure patients receive the same exceptional level of cancer care, close to home.
