Visiting Hours Information

Med/Surg Areas: Visiting hours for patients in the general nursing areas are 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Some rooms are equipped with sofa beds or recliner chairs so a family member can remain overnight if they wish.

Rehabilitation Center: Visiting hours are 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Maternity Center: Visiting hours are 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. the Nursery curtains are open during these times.

Intensive Care Unit: Immediate family members can visit at any time; however, only two visitors are allowed at one time. If there is no immediate family, close friends may be allowed to visit.

Visitors are discouraged from visiting between the hours of 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Every effort is made to meet the special needs of family/friends. Children under the age of twelve are not allowed to visit in the ICU. Phones located in the family waiting areas and outside the doorway to ICU allow family members and friends to communicate with the nurse at all times. Please use these phones to call the nurse prior to visiting.

Community Outreach & Activites

Community offerings include a variety of support groups and free educational lectures on various health topics. Meeting times and upcoming events are listed here. As a vital member of the community, Coliseum Health System frequently organizes charity food drives, encourages employee participation in health fundraisers, and annually sponsors health events in middle Georgia. Coliseum Health System has a total of over 350 beds, approximately 1200 dedicated employees, and over 500 physicians with privileges. The Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations accredits all three facilities.
