I previously saw Dr. Petersen a number of times when I was employed and had insurance. I later needed a referral to anot...her type of doctor but was self-employed and not insured. Dr. Petersen refused to make the referral without seeing me, but REFUSED to see me because I was not insured ("Dr. Petersen isn't taking any self-pay patients at this time.") I had previously thought she was caring, but now I see she is just one more example of what is WRONG with our health-care system. Will NEVER go to her or recommend her again. Sigh. more details
