Dr. Zahalsky scheduled a routine procedure for my wife. The proceedure was scheduled for 3:30 pm, he showed up at 4:30.... When he showed up, he took another patient instead of his scheduled appointment. The patient was not an emergency and had missed his appointment on Wednesday. Dr. Zahalsky did not explain the procedure to my wife and neglected to mention the insertion of stints in her ureters. He spoke with me for less than a minute and departed the hospital. As a person who has prior experience as a caregiver, his behavior was not only unprofessional but in my opinion it was un-ethical. Since her surgery, my wife has been in significant pain and 3 days after her procedure, she was forced to have the stints removed due to cramping and significant pain. Dr. Zahalsky was not in the office. The removal of the stints was directed by his PA. more details

He said "No one dies from stage one bladder cancer. I was buried 9 months later. He never even told myself or any family... members that I had a tumor on my kidney that grew to 3 times its size and never discussed it or offered surgery. Disgraceful. more details
