Missed my diagnosis until it was an emergency operation. Said it would be a simple operation laparscopy type, but then, ...it was more serious because he waited too long and didn’t listen to me about the extreme pain and he had to do an OPEN procedure that took me MONTHS to RECOVER FROM. He never really told me I had endometriosis either, which would have helped.
Because of him not listening to the seriousness of my condition, one nite the pain was unbearable, and I had to call an ambulance to take me to their hospital as I lived alone and couldn’t drive, and had to fight Kaiser for a year to get them to pay for the ambulance. All around, HORRIBLE OUTCOME. Hopefully he’s retired now, since this was early 90’s. more details
