Very un-impressed with Nurse Mid-wife Liz Jennings-Porter. Went in for a wellness check only to be told that I was obese... and needed to start doing weight watchers because that is what really had worked for her (Liz). To be told that I need to eat healthier before she even asked what I eat (I do eat healthy, Organic, non EMO, no sugar, etc). Then when I asked to have wellness check blood work done, and that I specified that it be coded correctly to be covered by insurance, Liz assured me that she would do that. However, a few weeks later I received bills that did not cover any of it. BCBS told me that it was coded as Obese-
due to excessive calories (This was coded without being asked for a food journal or knowing what I eat on a day to day). This coding is a lie. And after 7 months of trying to get this office to re-code and being lied to on several occasion I am filing complaints against them with BCBS and the Hospital board. Before thinking of setting up an appointment with this practice please think twice. They only judge you by your cover and don't listen to what you have to say. more details
