Steven N Sparta, PHD works in San Diego, California is a specialist in Clinical Psychology.
Dr. Sparta was initially selected to be the evaluator in my family law case. He called me on the telephone and kept ask...ing me why I did not answer his phone call when he first called me. I explained that I had a message system thru AT&T and when I am on the phone while someone is calling me it immediately goes to message. He asked me over and over the same question. I continued to answer him and then I advised him that our phone conversation was being recorded and it seemed his focus was not on the children and their safety. The next day he wrote to the Court and requested to be removed. At the very least since the government cannot currently force people to purchase health care I don't understand how an illegal court order like an evaluation of parents can be forced. It is an illegal order to force a parent to purchase a bogus evaluation - family court is a court of equity this is a no fault divorce state - it is simply a matter of splitting up the assets. Unfortunately this is not as lucrative for the attorneys so the con game is high pressured sales tactics - Family Court in San Diego has become a haven for waste and corruption designed to seize your assets without due process and line the pockets of professionals who are lazy and simply churn "high conflict" cases for excessive periods of time and create numerous illegal revenue streams for Attorneys, evaluators, special masters and minor's counsels. It is racketeering! Similar to Theresa Erickson who was falisying court documents and running a 6 year illegal baby selling ring in San diego Family Law Court this is just another criminal enterprise. more details
I had a very unsatisfactory experience with Steven Sparta. He was hired for mediation and effectively what I experienced... was more like a therapy session that turned out to be a one-sided, very biased unfinished job. We had one 45 minute session with Sparta and he jumped to conclusions in a very harsh, rash, unprofessional, non-objective, unscientific manner. If anything could be said about his work in my experience in mediation with him, it would have to be that he is nothing but a "crystal-baller," who never took the time to thoroughly get to know both parties, listen to both parties, and learn about both parties, before making decisions. His less than professional, unethical conduct only brought harm and risk to me, my child, my case, and to my financial well-being. He is only careless, unethical, and unprofessional in my experience in mediation with him, if you can even call it mediation. I would stear clear of this guy for this reason and for the reason that, in my opinion, he associates with a group of other Family Court regulars that all "back-pat" each other, refer to each other, and essentially conduct themselves and operate like a cartel, harming families and children, in my opinion, more than helping them. more details
