Dr. Cowley did a knee replacement and actually put in a prosthesis that was several sizes too large. Was unable to reha...b because the leg could not full extend. Saw him multiple times and each time he was asked why the knee was not rehabing correctly, he would say, "What did you do to it?" Finally the PCL stretched and became torn. Over the course of two days, the PCL actually tore away from the back of the knee. Only then, when the knee was loose and would give way at any time, did he actually listen. When asked what could be done to rectify the problem, he said that he would have to do another knee replacement. A second opinion was requested, outside of his practice and he huffed and as if he were offended. When ANOTHER ortho doctor redid the knee, in a very painful 5 hour surgery, it was discovered at that time the knee was way too large. more details
