This has been about 15 years ago but after seeing 3 different orthopedic surgeons and 2 ankle surgeries..... finally was... referred to Dr. VARGO by another orthopedic surgeon from Joliet,Il. I was on crutches for 18 months. After surgery by Dr.Vargo I was walking within weeks. After all these years my fusion is STILL fantastic. I do not limp....only if on my feet for lengthy amounts of time... ive refered a friend who had a botched ankle fusion to her..... i hope she goes as I am POSITIVE she will b able to help her..
