Dr. Peter C Seline, MD

Dr. Peter Seline was hired to remove an extremely small basal cell from my cheek. He wouldn't answer my questions prior ...to the MOHS surgery but began chiseling my face until about 6 inches of my cheek was removed. He did 2 cuts but billed my insurance for three! Then after I tried to see him a few weeks later due to an infection, he shrugged his shoulders and told me I signed the papers beforehand that say he isn't responsible for treatment of post-surgical need. I suffered from an infection that another derm downtown treated for FREE with antibiotics. This other doc also told me that Seline has a reputation in the field for poor bedside treatment and performing MOHS unnecessarily due to the money he takes in from each procedure. Three years later, my 6inch very deep scar still exists where the 1mm basal cell existed before. Had I seen another dermatologist, I would have saved a ton of money and been left with a much smaller scar and no need for three more returns to the doctor to fix what peter failed to do! Avoid this doctor at all costs. He's soo bad that he had to hire an online service to overwrite all the negative reviews posted by scores of his other patients! more details
