Turned me away with chondrosarcoma. Was not sent to Kirkland (part of UAB in which those without insurance are treated) ...Clinic to see him but he took over my case. Told me to get insurance then come back. Said I'd be ok. I said can't get insurance with pre-existing condition. Told him I could see on x-ray cancer was growing. Was rude. Mother begged him to help me.
Thankfully I found a caring Dr. (at a private hospital) in the nick of time. Was told the cancer would have very soon have been in my lungs. This Dr. had no concern about money. Only saving me. more details
