I had rotator cuff repair. When the anasthesia wore off there was no amount of oral drugs that could combat the pain. ...I was essentially told to OD and my pain was still uncontrollable for three days after surgery. The repair was strong and I was able to return to work(blue collar). I would recommend Dr. Richards but I would find someone who could visit with some REAL pain relief for the first few days. more details
