Dr. John V Peet, MD

Dr. Peet refused to see me even though I had an appointment, had insurance, had methods of payment and was in pain. I am... an educator with 20 years of experience. I showed up 20 minutes late, (still in my Friday, "Wild About Reading" work T-shirt so it was obvious I was coming from work) for my appointment. I was very apologetic and said, "I hope you can forgive me." The receptionist told me the doctor, "needs to get out of here at 3:30 today. We'll need to reschedule you." She did not offer me any other appointment, she just stared at me until I got the hint (to leave). I said, "Thank you anyway" and left. It's obvious this doctor and his staff did not care how I felt, they were much more interested in leaving early on Friday than they were in me as a person in pain who needed their help. I made a good faith effort to get there on time. I admit I was late but it's not something I make a habit of. To top it off, today is Teacher Appreciation Day for goodness sake. They couldn't even cut me some slack today? Well Dr. Pete, I guess you're Tee Time is more important that a patient who needed your help.
