Was seen July 2022 for a slight cough producing specks of blood in my phlegm and continued runny nose.
Dr Gregory... Barth at Ears, Nose & Throat Specialty in Edina Minnesota exam-looked down my throat with a camera he concluded the specks of blood in my phlegm is a combination of being on blood thinner medication and the action of coughing ruptured some of the tiny blood vessels. Prescribed nasal spray to reduce the runny nose.
Moving forward to December 18 2022 visit to urgent care with a persistent cough-chest X-ray shows mass. CT scan and PET scan…Stage 4 lung cancer with 6 months or less to live.
Back in July 2022, May be cared a little more to investigate the specks of blood in my phlegm? Would I have had better options today? more details
