I saw George more than once a week for almost 4 yrs. straight. We had an amazing patient-doctor experience. However, whe...n his wife stood in for him she and I did not get along and as a result Lerner abandoned me as a patient.
He nor his wife referred me to no other MD nor did they remain in consultation with me as the transition took place. In fact Lerner abrutly stopped talking to me and would not refill my medications. I went into severe withdrawal and almost had a lethal spiral seizure. The CA Medical Board found my complaint to be of a sound foundation to follow up on and though I cannot type the result, I will say that I'd defer anyone considering Lerner. At this point, he will not even release my records to the new MD I found myself after 5 months!

I also know George asks his patients to do personal favors. It wouldn't surprise me if 'anonymous' isn't someone solicited by George or the man himself. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! more details
