Was the worst experience I have ever had at a Dr's office. I am a new patient who made a yearly physical appointment an...d since this is a new Doctor due to recently moving here I was hopeful for a good experience. They wanted $100 up front (my insurance covers prevention visits like annual checkups) and so I called Blue Cross and they confirmed that they would get a bill, not me. The front desk refused my exam unless I paid right then and there and they were trying not to be rude but were real close. My husband had been in two months earlier and did not pay anything and yet they insisted he had paid the $100. Not true. I think they are doing something shady. I walked out and am now looking for another Doctor. Please be careful and know your rights with your insurance provider prior to walking in to their office and being blindsided. more details
