Most horrible experience of my life! This "Dr." casted a very blistered broken ankle & tried to re-set it without medica...ting me first. He refused to stop in spite of my screams & begging! The X-rays taken after the re-set showed that the Dr did more harm then good. Another surgeon had to rebreak Vaneks misaligned re-set and I suffered skin damage due to cast being too tight. I now have a plate with 10 screws but shouldn't have had to wait 9 days after the initial injury for my surgery. I would not recommend Vanek to anyone as I wouldn't want anyone to suffer the unnecessary hell that I went through! This has also delayed my recovery time! more details
