I went to this doctor after being referred by Conway Hospital. Making the appointment was horrible. I couldn't be seen f...or over a month. Then I had to wait 45 minutes in the waiting room and then 30 minutes in the exam room.
The doctor took 5-10 minutes out of his time to speak to me, then shoved me off onto a brace specialist, after he had convinced me that (in his own words) "an Orthopedic Specialist would be pointless because they'll give you pointless shots in the knee & foot and over charge you"
Dr. McIver's specialist first made sole inserts then, by the 2nd visit had come to the conclusion that I had a torn/hyper-extended Achilles tendon.
How can they come to such an assumption without preforming any X-rays, MRI's, etc?
This place is not a good place at all to go to if you have no insurance.
Their bedside manner is horrible, their staff is horrible, their diagnosis-es are laughable.
This place will take you & your wallet for a ride if you are not careful! more details
