Dr. Suresh Koneru, MD

My name is Chavel Silva, and on 4-30-12 I was struck by lightning. I was hit in the shoulder and it came out my right an...kle. The tissue destruction in my ankle was very significant. After being dumped by my hospital, with no real care plan to resolve this issue, I was told I would have to find my own doctor. Having never been struck by lightning, I had no idea how to proceed. So I started calling doctors in the phone book. All the doctors I called would not even touch me. They, as well as the hospital, did not know what to do for me. After numerous phone calls, and turn downs I happened upon Dr Koneru's number. When I called his office, and spoke to Linda, I explained my dire situation. I told her I was badly hurt, and afraid I'd lose my foot or even my leg. She immediately scheduled an appointment for me, even though there was no space in his day for me. Dr Koneru saw me and scheduled me for surgery that next day. I've had two surgeries on my ankle, both times, no pain afterwards. I credit Dr Koneru for saving my leg, indeed my life. His expertise in the O.R. and his nurse Regina have saved me. I am all but cured, my ankle is better and will soon be healed. I will never forget what Dr. Koneru and his staff have done for me. I kind of got used to walking on two legs and now plan to go out that way. I hope never to need this kind of care again, but should something happen, I know where my first phone call will be. If you ever need a doctor who will do something other than weigh you or shove a pill at you, this is the man. He will take great care of you with a kind and sympathetic staff, and skills that other doctors, who only take the easy cases don't posses. Its difficult to find good doctors, this one is one of the best. His specialty is in plastics, but he's not afraid to help people. He truly helped me. more details
