After over 6 years of being a patient. The office refused to provide services to my son due to billing discrepancy and d...emanded payment in full or the child could would not be seen. The claim was from over a year ago but they never sent any letters or bills to our home letting us know anything was wrong or that they experienced any problems with our insurance carriers. This only came up because of the new office. Simply could not understand how they could let this go without informing us over a year and now refuse to provide care to a child for a measly $200. They could have easily provide the service and allow us to investigate what happened with the bill and the insurance companies. They didn't even provide details as to what transpired with the insurance companies. They just said there is a balance and you need to pay in full if you want to get to see the Doctor. I even demanded to speak with the Doctor and I was refused. What kind of doctor practice behaves in such a manner? Seems completely unethical and against doctors code of ethics. Its apparent that the value of 200 carries greater weight rather than providing service to the ill. Hope it was well worth it! They are not only losing 1 patient but an entire family! more details
