Be very careful with this so called doctor. I received a phone call from a patient of his who asked me to help her find... a new pain management dr because she has Medicaid yet he is still trying to bill her $400 a month! I found this odd and one of my family members sees him and had just paid over $100 out of pocket having 2 insurances. I called the office to inquire as to why. He came to the phone and was very nice, admitted to overpayment and promised to mail a check the same day. Then when my family member went in to his appt the following week, he discharged him as a patient simply because I called to inquire about his billing practices. I think I struck a nerve because I knew about the Blue Cross investigation which he admitted he has counsel for. He also made sure to tell me, after overcharging us, that BC never paid a penny to see my family member. Not my problem! If you are being investigated and not being reimbursed because of that you should NOT take it out on your patients. I can't wait to see this clinic shut down. He knows he is in hot water. more details
