With much respect to the medical profession (because that's my profession too!), this guy should just retire and go milk... a cow. My symptom was classic trigger-finger brought on being a (middle aged) professional, albeit part-time, life-long stringed instrument musician. After examination I requested the usual steroid injection treatment at the affected area (which I'd never had previously, but knew the symptom and treatment based upon personal investigation). He simply wouldn't do it. Rather, prescribed massive amounts of ibuprofen (a systemic solution to a localized problem?)...to which I acquiesced, but to no avail. Went to another Doc outside of Sky Lakes. Doc looked at it, knew exactly what is was, gave me the shot, the trigger-finger hasn't returned in over three years and counting. This guy is an unmitigated bad man. more details
