I have been seeing retina specialist for 35 years for a degenitive retina disiese (along with my teenaged son). Dr Gersh...on replace a retina specialist at opticare we had been seeing for years.
My son and I had back to back appointments in the late afternoon. When Dr Gershon did the retina examination (with hand held lens and bright light), she went through my eye in less than 30 seconds (this usually takes minutes), she then rushed through my son's eyes.When we left, my Son commented on how he though she didn't do a thourough exam, and maybe she wasn't the best replacement for our previose specialist - I agreed. 3 month later we wnt to see another leading retina specialist in the area, who found a temperal periferal tumor in my son's right eye - hard to believe this wasn't there 3 months earier! more details
