Must have confused me with someone else. Within 15 minutes accused me of drinking, missing multiple appointments (one ap...pointment - years back - did not have driver - staff agreed I should not drive myself), making up my own blood panel criteria (I'm not a physician - couldn't do so on a dare), when the panels are done (again...not a physician), all when those parameters had been set up by his department's head years previously. Then accused me of being argumentative with staff. Years before I had enquired why support staff had stopped communication with pharmeceutical company for 30 days over holidays resulting in being dropped from study. Transplant staff quit assisting patients with appointments, luckily hepatology staff in his office more than helpful with assistance. Ended by suggesting I should leave program due to missing appointment after appointment, making up my own blood draw criteria and frequency, being uncooperative with transplant office (wondered why communication for trial drug dropped for 30 days on their part over Christmas holiday resulting in losing spot on roster), all after acting as though I had been drinking. (My disease according to them result of massive transfusion in 1968 - was not drinking for some time before initial diagnosis). Possibly a bad day perhaps?
