This appointment was by far THE WORST experience in our 45 years of dealing with doctors. Made my wife feel as if she d...eserved the cancer she was diagnosed with. Belittled, demeaned & contradicted every thing we were told by other doctors concerning my wife's breast cancer experience. Car mechanics have showed more compassion than this doctor. She asked us what we have been told... then in the middle of telling her what we have been told...she interrupted my wife by saying "Can I Speak now"!!!! Who does this? We went into this appointment expecting just to schedule the surgery as did our insurance company (they paid for her flight) with the understanding that we were going to get scheduled...and ultimately walked out in tears shaking ours heads thinking we are back to square one!!! She obviously wanted to impress us with her dazzling knowledge yet acted like a brat who wanted to shut us down and put us in our place!!! As if Cancer isn't enough...we had to deal with a PrimaDonna who in her words informed us...she was only here to "educate" us in our decision process yet basically told us that the procedure my wife decided on was comparable to using "A Sledgehammer to kill a fly" and no mater what we decided on...that it would not change the "odds" of cancer reoccurring, then when my wife began to get watery eyes suggested that based on my wife's "emotional state" she has not fully decided what she want's. If you really want some emotional torture...go see her. But be warned this woman has ZERO ability to empathize and even less ability to get her message across! I could go on and on but We are happy that we never have to deal with her again. more details
