Dr. Johnathan C Greenfield, MD

This is the work doctor I have ever met. I worked for him and the experince was terrible. He was NEVER in his own office..., and when he was there, he stayed for half the day and left for the rest of the day while he still had patients in the lobby and in rooms. Even patients that go to his office know this, everyday I got questions like "Is he here?"...and when he wasn't here, I got yelled at by patients because they weren't being seen by their OWN doctor. Over the phone I got cursed at because he wasn't in the office, and when he couldn't make it to the office and we had to call patients to cancel, I got yelled at and cursed at over the phone. And even when the patients were understanding and we got to reschedule their appointment, it would eventually had to be cancelled because the doctor didn't show up to see them, and eventually we would cancel patients 4 to 5 times and they never even got seen. There was NEVER a week were we didn't cancel appointments. Even when he did show up, myself and my co-workers knew that he wouldn't stay long so mentally we prepared ourselves to reschedule. It always happened. Yes he is very experinced and knowledgeable of his work, but how is that usefull when you don't even see your patients? Also, due to the rescheduling we had to double, triple, sometimes quadruple book the schedule. This made it even worse because we would have to tell people to wait outside in the hallway because the lobby got so packed. Overall the rescheduling was the worst part, some patients are in critical conditions, and this is a psychiatrist, how can you not see your patients? Some of them needed medications, and only a few of the medications we could call in to the pharmacy. And even when we rescheduled the patients I would get comments like "is he actually going to be there?", and I would have to respond with "I really hope so" how convincing does that sound? Not very. This is just a FEW of the problems with this doctor and this office. I, as an employee, got paid late, my check was returned for insufficient funds, and always had to run to the bank to cash my check, and most of the time there wasn't any money in the account! I don't even understand how this is legal. And after my hard work, always on time, and full commitment on moving HIS office forward, I got laid off, for no reason. His assistant's reasoning was "He wanted to change the staff." I'm NOT writting this review to degrade him as a doctor, or his office. I am writting this because it is the truth. Ask ANY of his patients if this isn't true, they will tell you...it is very true. I'm just writting this to save you a LOT of trouble with this office and this doctor, not only as a patient, but as a future employee. more details
