Dr. David W Sanchez, MD

This doctor should have his license revoked by the AMA. He has a long history of making erroneous assumptions when exami...ning his patients, and calling it "medical expertise", either out of laziness or ignorance (I really couldn't tell you which.) Talk to people in Alpine, Ft. Davis, Marfa about this man and it won't take long before you hear a horror story. He doesn't order tests for people who are in real trouble, and sends them home to have their condition worsen to a dangerous point. He takes out appendix unnecessarily. He doles out pain meds to addicts who need REAL treatment/help. He almost killed someone who came in with a horrible, unbearable headache and told her to take tylenol 3, and she nearly died. He diagnoses elderly people who have mild confusion in certain aspects of their lives with "severe dementia" getting them committed to institutions when they should be home with their spouses or families. He loses people's medical records on a regular basis, then actually tries to blame them, no matter how ridiculous the logic. These are just a small sample of infractions made by him. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN! 37 years of living in the Big Bend area, and I have never heard so many negative things about one doctor (And we are not exactly known for our stellar med care!) more details
