First visit. Sorely disappointed. Left me sitting for close to 2 hours past my appoiontment time. My husband had come al...ong to meet him but never did have a chance because he had to leave for his own appointment after waiting over 1 1/2 hours.
For nearly an hour I listend to him gabbing with a patient next door about Carribean food and cooking and several other medically unrelated topics. When he finally did come in he apologized for the wait and said it was because he was looking through my medical records. Guess he thinks the walls are sound proof.
Intern came in and asked a few questions. Heard him provide an overview just prior to Dr. Simmonds entering room. Some of the information passed to him was not accurate (I didn't have an MRI??? My records were from an ultrasound and 3D mammogram.) Despite his supposed review of my records I still had to reiterate everything in them.
Office staff is nice, nurse was very nice. Being personable is a nice quality in a doctor but in the end Dr Simmonds needs to balance his friendliness with certain patients with respect for other people's time. 2 hours for a 10 minute face to face is ridiculous. more details
