Volunteer Information
Philanthropy has always been important to the organizations that comprise CHS. The efforts of the foundations help us to fulfill our mission to provide the best care experience possible to everyone who comes to us for care. Maintaining top-quality medical care and state-of-the-art medical technology requires outside help. This crucial financial assistance comes from the CHS charitable foundations: the Kenmore Mercy Hospital Foundation, Mercy Hospital Foundation, Sisters Hospital Foundation, St. Francis Foundation, Inc., St. Joseph Hosptial Foundation, and the newly formed Continuing Care Foundation. Each year the foundations of the Catholic Health System hold special events open to the community. Your contribution in a fun atmosphere helps each foundation raise funds for equipment, programs and the improvment of patient care at their respective facilities. |

Foundation Information
Since 1980, the Kenmore Mercy Hospital Foundation has provided key financial support to Kenmore Mercy Hospital through an extensive development program that encourages public and private philanthropic support. We have been able to raise millions of dollars since our fundraising activities began. The Kenmore Mercy Foundation Board of Directors made a commitment to raise over $2.5 million over the next several years to provide the hospital with essential equipment to serve the health care needs of the people in our community. Through the Board's $2.5 million commitment, we have helped the hospital obtain an advanced neuro-navigational system plus operating room microscope, new anesthesia machines, a nuclear medicine camera, and state-of-the-art 64-slice CT scanner to enhance our high-quality patient care. |
