UHMC has earned the State of Florida Stroke Center Certification and is in the process of completing preparations to become a designated Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission.

In February 2009, UHMC received Accreditation as a Chest Pain Center from the Society of Chest Pain Centers. University Hospital is now considered one of only a few hospitals in Broward County with this Accreditation.

Parking Information

Follow signs for self-parking. Complementary valet parking is available Monday thru Friday from 8am to 5pm. It is located at the inpatient/outpatient registration entrance located on the North side of the hospital. Shuttle service is also available. Please pull up to the front entrance, and ask security for assistance or use the courtesy phone and dial the operator (0).
