University Hospitals Conneaut Medical Center is a 25-bed, nonprofit, acute-care facility that has provided quality health care to the families and businesses of Conneaut, Ohio, and its surrounding communities since 1922. This community-based hospital offers a wide range of medical and surgical services. UH Conneaut Medical Center is a federally designated Critical Access Facility, signifying its vital importance to the community in providing inpatient and outpatient services. Since joining University Hospitals in 1997, significant investments have been made in program, equipment and facility improvements, including a major renovation of the surgical unit. In addition, the hospital has immediate access to University Hospitals Case Medical Center centers of excellence. Special services offered at UH Conneaut Medical Center include the Ohio Bone & Joint Institute, Center for Comprehensive Pain Management, the Center for Women's Health, the UH Harrington-McLaughlin Heart & Vascular Institute, and neurological and urological care.
