Drew Kahn

Drew started his career with Tenet at Houston Northwest Medical Center in 1994 as a service line director before advancing to associate administrator and director of business development in 1998. From 2002 to 2004, he coordinated the development of key business strategies for 16 Tenet facilities in Tenet's Texas region based in Dallas. He most recently served for a year and a half as Chief Operating Officer of Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center in Houston, a 158-bed community hospital that provides comprehensive health care services and has received national recognition in key specialties from a number of third party sources. Before joining Tenet, Drew served as business manager with OrNda Healthcare Corporation in San Antonio. Mr. Kahn holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas - Austin and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. Drew is currently a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a board member of Cypress Creek EMS, a regional 911 service serving Northwest Harris County and he is a board member of the American Heart Association and the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce. |

Linda Mercier

Linda most recently was Tenet's Texas Regional CNO Specialist in the Commitment to Quality Transformation Team from January 2004 through June 2006. Prior to that, she was Chief Nursing Officer of Houston Northwest Medical Center, which at the time was a licensed 498-bed facility. She began her career with Houston Northwest Medical Center as a Nurse Manager of Pediatrics in 1982 and over the next 15 years assumed increasingly responsible senior management positions. Linda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Molloy Catholic College in Rockville Center, New York and a masters of Science degree in women's health care administration from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. In addition, she is a member of the American Organization Nurse Executives. As well as formally served as member of the Houston Organization Nurse Executives, American College of Healthcare Executive, advisory board of the Northwest Assistance Ministries Pediatric Clinic and Tenet Nursing Executive Council. |

Terry Kirk

He sets strategic direction for nursing, and provides professional and clinical expertise throughout the facility. Terry holds a Bachelor of Science Nursing degree from the University of The State of New York, Albany, New York and a master's degree in nursing administration from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. He also has a doctoral degree in healthcare education (EdD) from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He is also a board-certified nurse administrator advanced. Terry is currently a member of the American Organization for Nurse Executives, Texas Nurses Association and serves on the State Finance Committee for TNA. He is also a member of the American Organization for Nurse Executives and Texas Organization of Nurse Executives. He serves as a national board member for Nursing Services Organization and serves on Drexel University's advisory board for their doctoral nursing program. In addition, he is active in partnerships with North Harris County Community College School of Nursing and Texas Women's University in the Houston market. |

Sean Gallagher

His extensive healthcare career spans over 26 years in both consulting fields and large hospital systems. Sean initially joined the Washington, D.C. office of Coopers & Lybrand in 1985 as the Audit & Reimbursement Manager. Prior to that he served as a staff accountant and cost reimbursement specialist for client hospitals in Maryland and West Virginia. In 1992, Sean made the switch to Washington Hospital Center, a 907-bed tertiary care center where he served initially as the Assistant Vice President of Financial Management. In 1999, he was promoted to Vice President, Finance and also served as a representative of the District of Columbia Hospital Association Government Relations & Financial Policy Committee. Sean then joined the University Hospital, in Cincinnati, Ohio, as Vice President, Financial Services. His tenure at several large tertiary care hospitals and management of complex financial and accounting departments and functions has made him a valuable member of the Houston Northwest Medical Center management team. |
