| I will never recommend this hospital to my family or friends. My father-in-law who is 97 and is suffering from dementia was admitted for pneumonia I am his POA and was not able to talk to his nurse because she was always with a patient and never returned my calls and I was never contacted by the hospital regarding his admittance or his care. When I did reach one of his nurses on the third day he was in the hospital - the remark from the night shift was that he was combative and refused to take his medicine so they didn't give him his medicine for at least 2 days that I was told about. He is now in a care facility for rehab and they are having no problems taking care of him and he is not combative. It seems that communication with family is a huge problem here and care of a patient with dementia is also a huge problem. His care was very poor. |
