| Having my blood drawn on 3/13/18 cost me $207.00. This seemed very high. I later noted that the were charging my insurance company $230.00. Banner's says that is what AMbetter told them to charge me. I contacted AMbetter and was told I was not to have been charged anything. I was told to call Banner back and have them call AMbetter where there would be a note in my chart for them. This time Banner bounced my call around, everyone was rude and I demanded to speak to a supervisor. After a total of 40 minutes was told I would be connected to a supervisor ... click and I was disconnected. There was no attempt to call me back. Next day, I called and am actually connected to a supervisor, then to her supervisor. Banner will not call AMbetter. Their policy is that they get to keep my wrongly obtained money until they receive payment from AMbetter. How is the moral, ethical or legal! Policy does not supersede the law! |
