april 2012 I was treated by Dr Szabo for a mild heart condition and 4 stents were implanted. A week after the procedure ...I lost my job of 27 years and remained out of work for 8 months. I had a follow up appt then my next appt was set for about 6 months later in January with some tests ordered. of the $81,000 + bill insurance paid all but $967. I thru cobra contined my insurance but since I was unable to pay the $967 on a timely basis the good Dr without a single call to me cancelled the future appt and the tests and turn my account to a lawyer for suit. I have just sent a check for the full balance due as I am employed again but feel that he should have worked thru the appts as insurance would have covered them and maintained me as a patient. Should I have problems because of meds being wrong or needing adjusted I can only hope the lawyer he used to collect can also handle suits filed on his non-doctor type treatment. more details
