This is a bad man. My father in law and mother in law are/were patients of his. My mother in law broke her hip, and ha...d to have a rod and screws put in her leg. the surgeon told us she was only allowed to put 25-50% weight on the broken limb in the first month. Dr cossman wrote her discharge orders from the hospital with "weight bearing as tolerated". we questioned the pt's at the rehab center, and were told that's what the dr ordered. we thought the surgeon had changed his mind.....NOT! We were fortunate that nothing bad happened, but this man is a buffoon. my mil is 85 years old, and he has been their dr for almost 30 years. If she had had an accident, it would have most likely led to her death. he didn't even care enough about her well being to check with the surgeon for proper discharge orders. DO NOT use this man for your medical care. more details
