 Dr. Dewoskin Reviews

1

Mrs. DeWoskin appeared to really want to help in our family's very complex case. However, she appeared to bite off more than she could chew in opting to contain therapy to her office for a year rather than recommending outside service providers as things rapidly declined after a court order restored the other parent's rights. This resulted in a complete psychological collapse of three of our children. One of which was placed in residential treatment for 17 months. Two are still in intensive treatment with Psychologists. The oldest struggles with substance abuse and vowed to never trust again. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Years later, with a lot of patience and support, two of our sons are recovered from the therapy trauma inflicted upon them by this LCSW. It is our family's hope that Mrs. DeWoskin has learned her own limits and uses better judgement in relation to those boundaries. I personally hope that Mrs. DeWoskin has learned to decide much more quickly when it is appropriate to refer clients to other resources rather than shoulder a burden that clearly was too much for her to bear.

  • This was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor visit. First of all I saw the NP Amber , she made me feel like I was a bother to her . As I sat in the chair she told me to stand and pull my pants down then she took three steps back and bent over to pretend to look at the affected area, which made me feel like she didn't want to be near me. I said pretend to looks at because there was no way she could have seen the problem from that position. Then she talked with the nurse to tell he...

  • On 1/24/18 my mother had an elective heart valve repair, the surgery went very wrong, what should have taken four hours took nearly ten hours and my mother needed 22 pints of blood. She was intubated for nine days and sedated. They attempted to wake her up and could not do so. They inserted a trachea in the ICU where she lay in a coma like state for 50+ days, she had three seizures and the auto blood pressure cuff burst open her arm artery. This took an additional two surgeries to repair. A...
