Dr. Ojha failed me as a doctor in the worst way. I complained to her of my severe symptoms numerous times and she would ...always dismiss them as IBS, even when I tried all the tips she gave me and they didn't work. I even asked her to see a specialist and she refused my request, once again saying my symptoms are simply IBS. 2 years later, and with a new doctor, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Had Dr. Ojha listened to me, I would have avoided multiple surgeries, 6 months of chemo, and diminished quality of life - something I can never get back. Dr. Ojha was my doctor for over 2 years. During that time I repeatedly complained to her about my symptoms, which includ...ed extreme bloating, indigestion, extreme constipation (I looked like I was 6 months pregnant on worst days) and blood in my stool and she would dismiss my every complaint as IBS. When I tried the recommended diet for those with IBS and even went as far as extreme food elimination and didn't feel any better, I requested to see a specialist because I knew something was awfully wrong. She dismissed my request completely and again said "your symptoms are consistent with IBS". She would not listen to me when I knew that something was awfully wrong and here I am, 3 years later, diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. I am amazed at how she wouldn't even LET ME see a specialist, even upon my request. I wonder how she sleeps at night denying someone care. I bet she wouldn't have dismissed it had it been her own relative. Needless to say, I do not recommend this doctor. As a matter of fact, I suggest you go as far from her as possible. Had she listened to me and sent me to a specialist, I probably wouldn't be where I am today - having an advanced cancer at 30 years old and undergoing a very aggressive chemo treatment and having multiple surgeries. more details
