I went to Dr. Andary because my orthopedic Doctor has retired. When Dr. Andary finally met with me it was literally a f...ive minute exam as a first time patient with a 45 minute wait! I tried to mention medical history that I thought may be contributing to my knee problem and he was in such a rush to be done with me that he got up to open the door while I was trying to explain my issues. He said he would request a gel injection with my insurance and I would hear something in no more than two weeks. On Oct 29th (4 weeks later) I had a message from Dr. Andary’s office stating they need me to come back in because my insurance needed more information for the authorization to get gel injections. His office asked me to make another appointment because they needed more information. Keep in mind, I had already given them my x-rays, scope pictures and medical records from my previous doctor. I now have a bill pending for my office visit in September. I have since received a denial for the injections from my insurance so the entire process was a bust. more details
