Nurse removed a scab from a knee replacement. The medical record at the VA Hospital, says she gave me optifoam, bandage...s and instructions. This was a total lie. Shen pulled off the scab, returned ten minutes later with a gauze pas, put it on the wound with a small piece of tape. I have three witnesses. You could see the open wound through the sides of the gauze. She gave my wife one extra gauge pad and said Im done. Infection was unavoidable. Lost my leg, job, mobility and life because of her malpractice. Being VA I get nothing. This nurse should not be allowed to practice.
