I was in rough Shape, I had cellulitis for 8 mo without being diagnosed. I gained drastic weight, sometimes 25lbs a week.... I couldn't wear shoes, barely walk it was in my arms, legs, horrible in belly, everywhere! other doctors sent me to nutritionist. Finally, I was diagnosised and put in intensive care because my lungs and heart began to fail and my weight was up to 527lbs :( . I was now diabetic. and coulnt walk and 39 yrs old. I truly believe she was 1 out the 4 doctors that saved me. She was constantly checking on me. She sat down and taught me about diabetes, healthy eating and snacking. She inspired me not to give up and ncouraged me. We spoke of weight loss surgery. She offered to help find a good doctor. But I wanted to work on myself first. I was in a wheelchair and spent 3 mo in Alton Memorial Hospital. She was amazing. I was blessed to have her. I am now home with my children, walking and I have lost 208 lbs.
