This Doctor has poor communication skills and bed side manners with his patients. My father was hospitalized with conges...tive heart failure.
He was in the hospital for 5 days with water in his lungs. The hospital did several tests on his heart. Dr. Pitarys was provided with the results. He told our family that he would be by the room at 5:00pm. I arrived at 4:40pm. He came into my dad's room and announced that he had to leave due to an emergency. He never gave us the results of my father's tests. We left a phone number to be reached.
HE CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND SAID MY FATHER WAS DOING WELL AND HIS MEDICATIION WAS INCREASED. UPON READING THE WRIITEEN REPORT FROM THE HOSPITAL, MY BROTHER AND I SAW THAT MY DAD HAD A HEART ATTACK.
WE WERE SHOCKED ! WE ASKED THE DOCTOR WHY DID HE FAIL TO MENTION THE HEART ATTACK. HIS ANSWER WAS THAT THE HEART ATTACK WAS MILD.
AS A RESULT, MY DAD IS SEEING ANOTHER DOCTOR.
THIS DOCTOR IS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DOES NOT CARE TO INTERACT WITH THE ELDERY. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU LOVE YOUR ELDERLY MOTHER OR FATHER, DO NOT VISIT HIM. more details
