Dr. Carol H Macknin, MD

Dr. Macknin is the most inept pyschiatrist that I have ever met. She assigned me a totally incorrect diagnosis, which I... found out later from a second psychiatrist, treated me for it with every medication known to the world of psychiatry. It resulted in a drug induced Alzheimer condition and eventually a drug induced bradycardia attack. I have since moved to another city, found another psychiatrist who re-diagnosed me, found an alternative treatment and I am now drug free. She is a dangerous woman. Her parting words to my husband when we moved were "you can't save everyone". I have a terrific job today and life beyond my dreams. more details

The diagnosis was completely incorrect I found out after being seen by an alternative psychiatrist and should not have b...een treated using the methods that she used. She just kept prescribing prescription after prescription that never worked or took care of the problem because she had the diagnosis incorrect. I ended up being transported by an EMS squad for medication toxicity and medication induced bradycardia. I almost died! At one point she said to me "well I don't know what else you want me to do for you". more details
