Wife feels the same. 1- Very thorough: found issues tha...t others all missed (For example: solved my lifelong headache problem simply because she knew new medical findings. Found another issue before it was too far along, found. Followed up on what turned out to be a minor issue that other Dr.s had not even found. Conservative in approach including not solving symptoms by just prescribing another pill - Does not through out/ prescribe the latest pills that the drug reps push. Most thorough exams that we have had in routine and office physicals), 2- She has strong interest in preventing illness and emphasis on wellness but is positive and not pushy, 3- Excellent bedside/ office manner: Listens a lot. Takes lots of time in office visits to address any concern or questions. We do not feel we are in a production line where the Dr. takes the minimum time with you to treat symptoms/ what's 'broke' today/ only to get you out of the office. She sometimes personally calls us at home to follow-up. Apparently hired office staff that is both efficient and nice to deal with (They are not just, "Fill this out. Wait over there and we will call you." They answer questions and are pleasant.) 4- She seems to really like people and being a Dr.. Is caring but also very professional, 5- Appears in excellent health herself. 6- We found and followed her when she moved practice to Kennette Square, PA. This is the first review of anything I have ever done, second place I have put it. I have no other contact with Dr. Barry. It is refreshing to see excellence. more details
