If I could give Dr. Insel a negative star rating I would. Due to his callous, careless and insensitive nature, I ended ...up in the hospital where doctors were shocked by his flippancy toward my health. To prepare me for a procedure that I did not want in the first place, Dr. Insel removed me from my medication. When I protested the procedure again to him the day before, Dr. Insel then proceeded to attempt to bully me into the procedure. He told me that if i didn't go through with it he would not be my doctor anymore. I felt verbally accosted & at a mere 20 was shocked & embarrassed. Although I had never felt comfortable with him, I was definitely not returning to him after this. The very next day I ended up in the hospital. The medical staff rushed me to the back believing that I could possibly have a heart attack. This condition was due to my being removed from my medication. Dr. Insel did not care about me. I could have died. He obviously does not honor the oath he supposedly took of "First, do no harm." more details
